“The U.S. Department of Education has recently released a total of $25 million for the development of television and multimedia programs aimed at promoting science and literacy-themed programs. In a press release from the Department, the Twin Cities Public Television and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting received the grants through the Ready-to-Learn Television program to support the creation of several television shows, games, websites and apps for preschool and young elementary school children and their families.”(more)
