“For kids, it’s all about fun. Fun parties. Fun video games. Fun times with friends. But fitness? For some youngsters — not so much fun. Getting kids engaged in exercise, however, is important. The American Heart Association reports about one in three American kids and teens is overweight or obese, making childhood obesity the top health concern of parents in country, over drug abuse and smoking…too many kids forgo active past times and choose, instead, to spend their time sitting in front of the computer or TV, inhibiting their health and well being.
