“As 2015 comes to a close it is an opportunity to reflect on the work that is being done across the country to improve our nation’s K-12 education system. At StudentsFirst we are proud of the progress we contributed through our targeted state advocacy work. We focused our efforts in 10 states where we worked alongside coalitions and elected officials to enact 45 student-centered policies and defend 11 others that came under organized attack from opponents.
